Keeping your feet and lower limbs healthy & safe

At Custom Podiatry Services, we pride ourselves on being able to provide the highest quality customised care in a safe and sterile environment. First and foremost our team of professional and passionate podiatrists are committed to upholding these core values.

On Monday 23rd March The Australian Minister for Health (The Hon Greg Hunt) confirmed that ALL allied health businesses can continue working and are encouraged to do so.

We have been advised under the guidance and recommendations of the Australian Government and the Department of Health, the World Health Organisation and state and territory health authorities, as well as advice from the Australian Podiatry Association and Podiatry Board of Australia that our clinic locations are safe for both our clients and staff. We are business as usual and will continue to monitor the direction given by the Government.

Right now, we understand that it’s extremely important for us to undertake vital measures to minimise the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our clients, staff and community.

How we’re endeavouring to keep you safe:

  • All our staff are working separately to ensure that if one staff member is quarantined it does not impact our other staff or clinics. We thank you for your patience if you are unable to see your preferred practitioner during this time.

  • We wish to advise that none of our staff or their direct family members have been overseas or interstate in the past four weeks.

  • We adhere to strict infection control regimes and are diligent with our podiatrists and clients in-regards to compliance with activities such as strict hand hygiene protocols.

  • All instruments used during your treatment are strictly sterilised and are single use.

  • All contact surfaces and disinfected with medical grade products after each service and our clinics are swept, vacuumed and mopped daily.

  • All staff are strictly adhering to the most current infection control guidelines including appropriate use of personal protection equipment (PPE).

  • We're limiting the number of people in our waiting room so we ask that unless you are under the age of 18 or require a support person that any people accompanying you, please wait in the car.

Some guidelines and provisions that we ask our clients to follow to keep us all healthy and safe:

  • We ask that ALL clients with cold/flu-like symptoms, or who have travelled overseas/interstate in the past 14 days to remain at home and contact us via phone to reschedule your appointment on our clinic hotline on 1300 002 257.

  • The safety of our clients and staff is our number one priority.

If you are booked in for an appointment and still have concerns, please feel free to contact our hotline on 1300 002 257.

As per advice from the Australian Government, Podiatry is currently considered an essential hospital avoidance service, especially for people with diabetes who because of lower limb complications represent one of the highest rates of hospital admissions in Australia.

Now is certainly not the time to avoid getting the lower leg and foot health care that you need, so lets all band together to keep us ALL SAFE and keep business OPEN.

Virtual Podiatry Services:

Please note, if you are unable to attend our clinics in person we are bringing a virtual podiatry service that will be available in the coming days. This service will be delivered via video consultation to assess your particular issue and provide a personalised treatment plan.
