Ryan is a senior podiatrist, lecturer, and researcher with a special interest in sporting injuries, chronic pain, and preventative foot health. He brings decades of experience to his clinical care, having worked extensively in both rural and metropolitan settings across South Australia — from Ceduna and Roxby Downs to senior leadership roles at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
With deep expertise in managing high-risk and complex foot conditions, Ryan offers compassionate and evidence-based care to help patients reduce pain, stay active, and prevent future issues.
Ryan also brings a rich academic background to his practice. He has worked at the University of South Australia for over 24 years, where he has held positions as Lecturer, Researcher, and Podiatry Program Director (2017–2024). He completed his PhD in 2016 and currently supervises a range of research projects that support the ongoing development of podiatric care.
Outside of podiatry, Ryan enjoys trail running, playing touch football, and relaxing with a good glass of red wine.
